Ephesians 6:10-11 “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.”
Stress because of finance, stress because of sickness, stress because of work…. It just seems that we hear this word everywhere around us right now. This world we are living in, is just pressing everything out of everyone.
And we are all feeling it.
God gave us everything to stand against the enemy that is attacking us. We need to remind ourselves that we are children of the Most-High God, a Royal Priesthood and a Chosen Generation. In the mist of our trials, when we think that God is taking a long time to act on our situation, we need to learn to dwell in His Presence, to just love Him and to wait on Him PATIENTLY.
This is the key word here: Patience. Patience is a word that most Christians don’t like to hear or to ask. Just thinking about going through trial for a long period of time is just unthinkable, unfair and terrible.
However, if you knew how Patience work and how powerful it is for a believer, you would be asking for it… and not wish it away. Patience is one of the Fruits of the Spirit. It is also called Long-Suffering. Patience helps us to rely on God, and not on our own strength. It allows our faith to grow spiritually and get closer to God. God is creating something in you. He is shaping you, refining you for His Glory.
There is a song that goes: “Oh the joy of the Lord, it will be my strength. When the pressure is on, it’s making DIAMONDS” Don’t wish it away. God is doing something in your life. You need to hold on, wait on the Lord and trust Him. He knows what He is doing.
The devil cannot do anything against a Christian that has Patience. Fear, anxiety, finances, sickness have no power against Patience. Because a Christian that has patience relies on God for everything and knows on how to wait on Him.
It is time for us all to stand up against that devil. He is just a liar and want to make your lives miserable. We are a victorious people. God is leading us.
And guess what, He has never lost a battle!
